Handyman Rates
Fair and transparent pricing.
Handyman & Carpenter Rates | Standard Rates. (Scheduled work: booked 48 hours in advance) Monday - Saturday 08.00 am - 17.00 pm | Out of hours / Emergency Rates. Monday - Saturday 17.00 pm - 08.00 am. Sunday - Bank Holidays: All day. (Must be booked by phone). |
Handyman / Carpenter (up to 2 Hours) This charge reflects travelling time and administrative costs in setting up the job. | £150 (minimum charge) | £180 (minimum charge) |

Additional information
- Rates per tradesperson.
- The minimum time charged is £150 per tradesperson. After the first two hours, we charge on the hourly basis. Prices are inclusive of all taxes.
- If we arrive and are unable to carry out the work through no fault of our own, the minimum charge to the booking will be applied.
- Parking and Congestion Charge is charged at cost where applicable. Please ensure there is reasonable provision made for parking. If there are parking restrictions please provide parking permits.
- Sourcing and shopping time for all requested materials and supplies will be added on top of the service price. One (1) hour shopping time is charged at £60. The cost of the purchased materials will be added to the final service price +30%.
- Specialist sub-contractors are charged at cost +25%.
- Waste disposal, we don't offer rubbish removal but can refer other providers.
Rescheduling / cancellation policy
If you need to reschedule or cancel a confirmed booking, please give us at least 48 hours (2 working days) notice to be acknowledged by us to avoid a late notice charge of £70.
Late cancellations or no show by tenant / client will be charged the £70 tradesperson.

Meet The Team
Conrad - Carpenter & Joiner
BlueWood Handyman is run by Conrad Healy.
Conrad is passionate about all things property, family and knowledge sharing.
Often quiet, but can be a bit hyper too!
He studied construction in school as a teen (long time ago now!) and scored top of his class. Bought first property to do up as a teen as well as studying Business IT and got an honours degree. Spent some years working in IT by day and building a property portfolio by night and weekends.
Married, started a family and own building business. Studied and qualified as both a Carpenter and Joiner and scored top of his class in the year end competitions.
Conrad is a qualified Construction (Carpentry & Joinery) tutor and teaches in college Construction, Carpentry & Joinery 1 day a week.
With over 20 years experience in the building and maintenance sector, as well as being a professional landlord, Conrad is building a team that provides expert knowledge and skills to:
- Local home owners
- investment landlords
- small businesses
- schools and other commercial sites.
Izza - Office Administrator
Izza is an experienced, highly efficient and organised Office Administrator, and the friendly helpful voice you hear when you call in. She has been with BlueWood Handyman Team since 2021.
Communicating, scheduling and updating landlords, tenants, teammates and builders suppliers all looks easy when handled by Izza.
Izza has always had a passion for home remodelling and Interior design. She believes wholeheartedly that remodelling your home helps you to fall in love with it all over again!
